久しぶり ~ hisashiburi ~

hello minna (for those who read regularly)!

Its been wuite a long time since I posted an article.. sorry for that, but RL has been really busy.^^

University has started and a lot happened. Very much to learn, tests to write (and to pass, obviously), the practical work in the laboratories has to be done (which drives me nuts from time to time)….

Next month (in feb) there are my final exams (Physics, Maths, Chemistry, Latin and physical chemistry [does that term exist in english?o.O]) – and i really should start revising for that!!!!

my life isnt THAT interesting at the moment, it consists of sleeping, going to university, studying, eating… nothing interesting -.-

BUT I was on a seminar where we could qualify for a scholaship!! I was nervous as hell. The 3 days were one of the best in my life, I have to admit that ^^ and the people I met were really cool :) . Now its waiting for about a week or two, and then we will get the results in a letter…. hope I will be accepted^^

so I wanted to give just a overview wbout my current life, I will wirte about japan again soon ^^

Japan my love ~

my old and new love: Japan ^^

old love, because I liked it for a very long time, and new, because I start to find out so many new aspects about the country, its culture, and so on.

I really like the japanese culture for example the traditional clothing (kimono / yukata) or the comics (manga). The reason why I started to be so interested in Japan lies in my adolescence. I started to buy and read manga. Yes, it sounds stupid, but you have to consider that the „world“ depicted in them made me want to „verify“ that. I wanted to know, whether it was true what was written or drawn. For example if every student has to wear uniforms, if there are special clothes for sports at school. I didn’t even know that the rooms were so small in reality. And so I began to experience Japan and its culture.

Of course, if you want to get to know a new country, you will also try to understand the language. :) That is the reason why I have started to leran Japanese :D

Maybe you know already, but there are 3 types of written language: hiragana, katakana and kanji. hiragana / katakana are syllabes, kanji are more complicated. katakana is used only for foreign words (e.g. words which origin is english or french). I started to learn the syllabes by heart and to write them (its easier said than done o.O). here is an overview of the hiragana:

then I found a really useful page in the internet (which I can’t qoute now, sorry), where you can print the kanji taught at elementary school in Japan. I try to learn them, but it is really difficult, but I try to keep going :]

here an example of kanji :

I really want to visit Japan at least once in my life, but it is so expensive to go there ;___; unfortunately, I am not that rich I could afford such a trip *drop*

well but, I have at least the language ^^

sore ja, mata ne (well, goodbye)

Hello world!

Hello!

this is my new blog :) I already had another one, but I decided to delete it and to start something new ^^

First of all, I’d like to tell you something about me. I want to enter university in october – I want to study pharmacy (yes, a lot of chemistry, physics and maths awaits me @.@) I have no problem with chemistry, only physics is not such a good thing with me xD I was really bad at it in school (I wrote 0 points on purpose because our lessons were as interesting as … well you know what I mean /D)

In the following blogs I will write about topics that come across my way… movies, books, politics, my progress at university and so on :)

see ya
